Kewarra Beach Resort

My partner and I recently stayed at Kewarra Beach Resort and had a wonderful experience. The resort is situated in a beautiful location, surrounded by lush tropical gardens and just a stone's throw from the private beach. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed, with all the amenities you could need for a relaxing stay. The pool was an absolute highlight, as we had it mostly to ourselves. The only negative factor was that the restaurant was unfortunately closed during our visit, which wasn't advertised on the website upon booking. Overall, I highly recommend Kewarra Beach Resort for anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway in Cairns.

If you ever wanted to stay in paradise? Then Kerrama Beach Resort will make that possible. Marsha and Terry were just amazing. Customer service was outstanding. Both were very professional and still very personnel. You just need to experience. All other staff we met, from gardener to late night receptionist, 100% customer service. Just amazing, we stayed at the front bungalow #1, step on to the beach. Listen to the waves, just beautiful The set up of the bungalow is clever. Toilet wall has furniture on the opposite which gives a bit more privacy. Shower has two shower heads, one is the " rainwater" feature, walk in shower. There is even a full bathtub, from where you can see the ocean. What was missing was a ceiling fan outdoor on the patio. Bed was comfy.

A great location beautiful unique and relaxing. I hope the refurbishment doesn’t change the feel and look of the resort as it’s only a few left like this. A day spa and restaurant would be ideal but was closed during my stay a few weeks out of closing for refurbishment, but over staff are wonderful location is great. You can choose to venture away or just stay and relax. I love the fact the beach was at my door step and you turn around and it feels like you are walking into a rainforest.

This resort has just announced a closure due to renovations over the coming months, and cancelling 18 weddings that were booked at the venue, with little notice, including mine. I am at a loss at how this business can treat it's customers this way, you have ruined what is supposed to be the most important day of our lives. We now have 2 months to find a replacement venue, and replacement accommodation for over 40 of our interstate guests, during peak tourist season, peak wedding season and school holidays (aka everything will be booked out or incredibly expensive now). I don't understand how the new owner could be so heartless, so selfish and so despicable to people who were investing so much of their hard earned money into their business, and why they couldn't have blocked out a future date where they didn't have any wedding bookings and done renovations. How can you be so heartless? I will be blacklisting this business and never supporting anything it does in the future, and I encourage the local Cairns community to do the same. We sent out Save the Date cards in October last year. Our booking has been for longer. You said you would honour the existing bookings when you bought the place. Seriously, what is wrong with you.

Really disappointed with my experience with Kewarra Beach resort. My partner and I were so so excited to have our wedding here, but the new management team stuff us around for months, im talking 3-4 months! and in the end said we were unable to have the wedding there as I had a different wedding planner (which I was told originally that I could have) really broke our hearts as we were so set on this place and had to make new arrangement within 6 months of the wedding.
